Five days in Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Arrival in Trieste by own means and time for a first individual visit of the center of the city. Check-in at the hotel.
7.30 p.m dinner at the restaurant

MENU'
APPETIZER: Beef carpaccio, misticanza, mustard and worcestershire.
FIRST course: Gnocchi with pork ragout, parmesan cheese
MAIN course: braised cheek, Swiss chard, potato fluff, horseradish
DESSERT: apple and cinnamon strudel
Still and sparkling water, coffee

Breakfast in hotel. At 9.30 a.m meeting with the guide for a visit of the center with a stopover for a coffee and sweet.
Coffee will be served with a chocolate drink, natural water and 2 mignon sweets: trilogy (3 types of chocolate mousse) and Pistacchio (mousse pistachio raspberry).
At 1 p.m lunch in a buffet restaurant. After lunch, optional visit of the Revoltella Museum by paying the ticket in loco.
At 7.00 p.m meeting the driver to reach the restaurant for dinner.

Welcome drink with glass of Prosecco, tuna tataki
FIRST course: half paccheri in busara peeled scampi and yellow dates
SECOND course: baked fillet of sea bass with potatoes and seasonal vegetables
Water included

Return to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Miramare Castle. At 12:15 p.m. guided tour of the Castle.
After the visit, meeting with the driver in the car park for departure to the Grotta Gigante.
At 2 p.m tasting with 1/2 glass of Vitovska Sardo and 1/2 glass Malvasia Budin. The wines are served with local cured meats, risotto with Antonic pecorino cheese, courgettes and lemon, with a glass of local bubbly per person and water.
At 3:30 p.m entrance to the Grotta Gigante with the guide. At the end of the visit, meeting with the driver and return to the hotel.
At 7 p.m departure for the Green Dolphine boat point of board and arrival in Muggia at 8 p.m.
Dinner at the restaurant.

MENU'
APPETIZER seafront with Prosecco and sparkling Ribolla Gialla, mixed fish finger food
ANTIPASTO: creamed salt cod with black truffle and bread chips
MAIN course: fillet of gilthead bream with Vitovska del Carso and potatoes in tecia
DESSERT: cold Prosecco zabaglione with fresh strawberries

After dinner, a short walk and meeting with the driver at the Muggia bus station. Return to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. At 9.30 a.m meeting with the driver and the guide. Arrival in Palmanova and guided tour from the fortress to the Napoleonic lunette with a honey tasting, accompanied by dried fruit and samples of local cheeses.
After the lunch, departure for Aquileia and guided tour of the Roman Forum with entrance to the Basilica.
Once the visit is over, meeting with the guide and departure for Trieste. Free time at disposal.
Meeting at 7 p.m with the driver for dinner at 8 p.m.

FIRST course: palacinke alla madriera
SECOND course: venison loin with teran sauce
DESSERT: vanilla-scented millefeuille

Return to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. At 9 a.m meeting with the driver and departure for Duino Castle.
At the infopoint of Sistiana meeting with the guide and start the panoramic walk along the Rilke path to Duino Castle.

At 10:30 a.m guided tour of Duino Castle. At 12 p.m meeting with the driver in front of the entrance and return to the station/parking lot.
